Members Creed

As a member of Tribal Gaming you will be expected to uphold certain
beliefs/standards. These are the standards that everyone is expected to
follow:
1. Every member is expected to behave with integrity.
This means treating every member the same regardless of time or rank
within the community. Every person in the community or out of the
community should be treated with dignity and respect.
2. Every
member is expected to be loyal to the community and it's members. This
means that you may only be a member of this community.
3. Every
member is expected to behave maturely and with common sense. Each member
is expected to a minimum of 18 years of age unless Elder approval has
been given.
4. You are never allowed to recruit anyone who is in
an existing community. This is called poaching and is grounds for
immediate removal. If you have friends who would like to join but are in
an existing community this must be brought directly to the elders and
arrangements will be made between the leadership of this community and
the community they are currently in.
5. No member, regardless of
rank, will be allowed to harass, discriminate, or show any type of bias
against any other member or gamer. Doing this is grounds for immediate
removal.
6. Drama, gossip, and petty arguing is unproductive and
a waste of time. If you have any intention of spreading rumors,
starting problems, or creating any other form of drama, this is not the
community for you.
7. Gamertag's should not have any
discriminatory content. If you are concerned about a person's gamertag,
please bring the concern to the Elder's either in person or in the "Ask
the Elders" thread on the forums.
8. If you have a desire to participate in game
battles, you have two options. You may set up a team within the
community and submit the roster and dates you intend to play to the
elders or you may play with friends outside of the community as long as
the friends you are playing with are not affiliated with another
clan/community. (If each friend is affiliated with a different community
and you are all just gaming, that is fine. But per this creed you may
not be a part of another community/clan.) You will need to report any
gamebattles plans to the Elders. It is not for approval but it is so we
are aware that you are representing the community.
9. If another
community is causing problems for Tribal Gaming, we might warn you to
avoid them, however, you pay for your xbox live membership and we will
not ask you to remove anyone from your friends list. Please note: If the
community we warn you to avoid begins harrassing you, your friend's and
recruits, or hacks your account, please remember that we warned you to
avoid them.
10. If you
disagree with a decision made by the Elder's you are entitled to present
your case before the Elder's and a re-vote will be taken not only by
the Elder's, but a poll will be presented to the community and the
majority rule of that poll will count as an additional Elder vote.
11.
If you have questions, ideas, or thoughts please direct those things to
the person directly appointed leadership above you. However, if you
feel you have a serious concern which needs the Elder's attention, you
may bring it to them at any time for any reason. The reason for this
policy is not because the Elder's do not care. We do, and will answer
any question asked, however, we have appointed people into tribal ranks
to give them a title of leadership within the community and by skipping
them, you bypass the rank they have earned. They work very hard at
providing a positive gaming experience for you and as such deserve the
right to assist you.
12. No member, regardless of rank, is any different than the rest.
The only thing that tribal rank shows is the amount of responsibility in
the community, it does separate the value of the member. There is no
such thing as one member over another. If any person abuses their title
of rank within the community, they will IMMEDIATELY be removed. (This
includes the Elders)
13.
Do not post anything on the forums that is sexual, pornographic, drug
related, or illegal. This is against forum rules provided by the server
and will be taken down immediately.
14. Hacking/Modding/Cheating of any kind is NOT permitted in this community as it violates everything that we stand for. As such, being caught doing these things could result in immediate dismissal.
15. Although we do support your right to free speech, this is a mature community. As such, when you are in public game lobbies we ask you to restrain yourself from using overly profane language, drug or alcohol references, or any form of sexual joke. What you say in a party with a group of friends is entirely your choice but we do not need the world believing that our community has no integrity, so we expect you to act as though you are a mature and professional member. In addition to this, if you are being offensive and you are asked to stop, please do so. Not doing this violates the other member's right to a positive gaming experience.
This creed applies to every member, regardless of rank. Each Elder is to sign this creed acknowledging their pledge to uphold this creed. Violation of the rules will result in a verbal warning, then a written warning, then your dismissal pending an equal vote of the Elders. Elder's may be removed from the community. No one is permitted to remain in the community if they are unwilling to uphold this creed, Elder's included.
